Acumomma, (Yaelle Eloul Shaphir) is a licensed acupuncturist/herbalist living and working in West Hollywood, CA. Vassar College alumn (Economics 1995). I.D.F. Alumn 1997(Israeli Defense Forces, became a Physical Exercise Trainer and I instructed Israeli & Druzi soldiers & monitored their health. While in Israel, I met my Eldad "Dedi" Shaphir (www.dedishaphirhair.com). Emperor’s College Alumn (2000 Master's in Traditional Oriental Medicine Summa Cum Laude) - interned at Daniel Freeman Hospital in Marina Del Rey working with patients in the drug/alcohol rehab/detox program as well as pain/post-surgical, and psych ward. Additionally, interned at the Los Angeles Free Clinic and the Emperor's College Clinic. California and Nationally Licensed at practicing since 2000. N.A.E.T. Practitioner(Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique)and Reiki Master III (1999/2000). In 2004, added B.R.T. (Body Restoration Technique) to toolbox for treating patients. B.R.T. was developed by Dr. Eric Berg in Virginia to address endocrine (hormonal) imbalances and pain. In 2004, began journey towards becoming a Gong Master Journeywoman under the tutelage of Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux. Don Conreaux has travelled the world expanding The Way of The Gong and Gong Conciousness - Peace on Earth for All. Having been "gonged" in utero and as a child, being a gong player as an adult seems a natural progression. Attended Don's Gong Master's Training in Dorset, England and accompanied him on a portion of his lecture/performance tour through the Southern portion of England in 2004. Now incorporating Gong Sound Therapy within the practice & performing with the Gong throughout Los Angeles. The intent is to expand Gong Consciousness to all. Living in Southern California with 2 beautiful daughters and an amazing life partner. The journey continues...
